Welcome

Heacham Digital Camera Club was founded in 2006. We are a friendly, active, community group of people who enjoy photography.

We meet in The Sandringham Club, West Newton on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday each month. On the 3rd Tuesday from April to September, weather permitting, we visit interesting areas within Norfolk to take photographs which we review during the following month with a friendly competition where 'the winner takes it all'.
During the 1st Tuesdays we hold bi-monthly competitions which are critiqued by an external judge. We also have practical short workshops, tutorials and projected shows of members work.

We welcome members of all ages with any type of digital camera, from point and shoot to expensive SLR equipment and endeavour to encourage all our members to achieve their personal goals.

Each year we host 3 or 4 exhibitions at local venues for members wishing to show their work.

There is a small membership fee to The Sandringham Club, which gives members access to other clubs on the Queens Estate. Camera Club fees are £2 per person, per meeting.

We have a club printer, laptop, projector and other equipment however, many members bring along their own laptops to meetings which we do encourage as it is helpful to assist each other in many aspects of photography.

If you enjoy taking photographs, come along and join us for an evening, where you will be made welcome.
